User roles and permissions
Some permissions can be assigned on a per-group basis, while there are system-wide roles as well that don’t relate to groups.
System-wide roles
Permission | Description |

System administrator | Unrestricted access. This is the only role that can manage groups, users, CAT tool connectors, API keys for translation, has access to the Statistics page, and can start or stop subscriptions. System administrator users can create, modify and delete system users. |
Billing administrator | Users with this role have access to the Billing page, can manage payment methods and billing data. Note: they cannot start or stop subscriptions. |
Group-level permissions
Permission | Description |

Manage corpora | Users with this permission in a group can upload, import, update and delete corpora in the same group. |
Manage engines | Users with this permission in a group can create, update, train and delete engines in the same group. |
Translate documents | Users with this permission in a group can create projects, upload, import, translate, deliver and delete project files in the same group. |
Translate text | Users with this permission in a group can use engines in the same group for text translation. |
