Custom engines trained in the cloud on Globalese version 4 and above can be deployed for text-based translation purposes.

Once an engine has been started, it accepts authorised requests. If you want to prevent anyone from sending translation requests and thus generating costs, make sure the engine is stopped when it’s not needed.

Starting an engine

1. Click the Start button.

2. In the modal window, choose a region and click Start again.

3. While the engine is being deployed, its status is Queued. Click the icon next to the status to refresh it.

4. Once the engine has been deployed, its status changes to On and you will see the parameters necessary to access it. The engine is now ready to accept translation requests.

Stopping an engine

Click the Stop button and confirm your action. The engine will immediately be stopped and will not accept any more translation requests.
